Photography of Your Birth Experience Made Into a Beautiful Video

On Facebook, which I am addicted too, I recently was emailed a link to a “birth video”.  An old friend from college forwarded this and put it on her Facebook page and I was blown away and brought to tears as well.  Basically, my friend, Melissa, had a photography session in her home when she was pregnant, along with her husband.  Then the photographer actually came to the hospital and documented the whole birth process with still shots.  Then she came to her home again after the baby came home and shot the baby and the whole family with some beautiful photography.  I wish I had known about this service, and I feel that all my customers would love it.  The photography studio is called Penny Noell (also her name I believe) and you can find her at www.pennynoell.com or her blog at http://pennynoell.blogspot.com.  I am not being paid for this endorsement, and I have never used her myself, but after seeing this video, I so wish I had known about her and this wonderful service.  She really captures the moment and the emotion of the family and friends surrounding Melissa, as well as Melissa herself.  Watch the video and see for yourself.  Just beautiful.

This is what the mom and my friend, Melissa says about her experience.
“Yes. She did a home session for pregnancy shots and newborn shots AND stayed at the hospital with me for the whole thing. I called when I was in labor and she met me in Wilson. I have over 600 pics from that day. We took the best ones and made the video. It is my most prized possession. I just got the pics for Lanie and am working on the same! Penny is INCREDIBLE and so easy to work with. I never felt like I had to “pose” and never felt as if she intruded. I had a hard labor with Thomas, so if she hadn’t had been there, I would not have been able to “experience” the end of my labor, because I kept my eyes closed and was in terrible pain.”

Enjoy the video, but make sure you have a box of tissues.  I cried (tears of joy)!  You will too. Have a great day everyone!
